She started her career as a software engineer and developer advocate at Interswitch Group, building API gateways, developer portals, and enterprise software, before shifting her focus to making complex technology understandable for the end users.

Her work covers four disciplines: API and developer documentation, product documentation, UX writing, and documentation operations. She has taken full ownership of high-traffic API surfaces, launched documentation for regulated product areas including consent and privacy, reviewed UI copy as a formal part of product design, and co-built a four-stage AI-assisted documentation pipeline using Claude Code that makes documentation output more reliable and traceable at scale.

As Open Source Programs Manager at She Code Africa, she founded the Women of Open Source Community Africa (WOSCA) and launched Contributhon, the organisation's flagship open-source contribution bootcamp, managing the programme entirely from scratch: securing close to $20,000 in sponsorships from partners including CloudBees and the Continuous Delivery Foundation, providing $500 stipends per participant, coordinating with mentoring organisations, and running all aspects of participant selection and support across two cohorts that grew from 16 to over 100 women. She has also contributed to open source documentation for Jenkins and the Wikimedia Foundation.
A recognised voice in technical writing, developer experience, and open source, she has delivered over 15 international talks since 2019, including a keynote at CDCon and sessions at FOSS Backstage, Open Source Summit, State of Open CON, and GOV.UK Design System Day. She holds an MSc in Project Management with Distinction from Teesside University and is recognised among the Continuous Delivery Foundation's Top 10 contributors shaping the future of Continuous Delivery and DevOps.
